Moo-ve Along

Traffic stopped moo-ving on a busy road in Feuchtwangen in Germany after 31 cows escaped after the lorry they were being transported in skidded and crashed off the road.

Police and firemen used tow ropes as lassos to help catch the runaway cows leaving both lanes of the busy motorway closed while the roundup operation was going on.

Police said that two of the cows have been so badly injured they had to be put to sleep but the others were loaded onto a second lorry and taken to the farm where they were originally scheduled to be delivered.
